This suspended curtain is formed from small transparent Perspex blocks woven together with neon green yarn. From a distance, the structure appears almost invisible, with only flashes of colour revealing its presence. Closer inspection exposes a complex network of fragile connections, where each block is carefully held in place by hand.
The work brings together the visual language of circuitry with the softness and irregularity of textile construction. It moves between technology and handcraft, strength and fragility, concealment and display. What initially resembles a rigid digital system gradually reveals itself as delicate, tactile and unstable. The piece rewards close attention, inviting the viewer to move nearer and discover the labour, tension and vulnerability hidden within its structure.
